Reading LIA 3 Rescheduled

Reading LIA 3 is this Tuesday, 2/19 and Wednesday, 2/20. Remember students who bring up their scores/ maintain high scores will be invited to a "Movie Night" at Mrs. Cribbs' house.TBA. We will have popcorn, soda and loads of fun!

Valentine's Party

We are celebrating the last 30 minutes on Friday, Feb 15th. Love to all! Students may bring a bag of candy to share with 40 students and valentines.

Reading LIA 3

We will be taking Reading LIA 3 this coming Monday, 2/11 and Tuesday, 2/12. Students who improve their score will be invited to a popcorn, soda, movie party at Mrs. Cribbs' house. Date TBA.

Literacy Week (1/14-1/18)

We are getting geared up for Literacy Week next week! To us, "Literacy" week is every week. We love reading and we do so much of it! ;) See the list below for activities we will be participating in:

-Million Minute Marathon (We will read an extra 20 minutes on Monday.Great AR time!)
- Mr. Hastings(Our Superintendent), the Chief of Police, and members of the Rotary Club will be coming to read to us at various times on Tuesday! What a honor!
- Bookmark Contest- Students will design a bookmark and have the chance to win a trip to a Reader's Tea Party. (Boys, it's not girly!)
- Strategy Poster Desgin- We will be designing a poster to represent our class' favorite reading strategy.
- Running to Read- Special Area Activity

And much more!!
