FCAT Explorer passwords were taped in the front of each child's planner. Simply go to fcatexplorer.com to sign in. Once signed in, visit 3rd Grade Galactic Library. This will prep us for that test in April!! :) Have a great weekend!! Look for the secret word!

Coach Owens Making A PB&J

Coach Owens came in today to follow two chosen Pb&J sequences. I told you we needed to be specific!! She was very confused at first, but the Pilots, Rangers and Mrs. Markham straightened her out!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to let you know that the math/science page has been updated! I'm so sorry for the delay! With school starting there has been so much going on and I hadn't gotten a chance to update it yet. I will be better at updating it from now on since it's such a valuable tool! PB&J Sequencing

We are working on sequencing events. We got a little practice in by reading recipe/directions of how to make a PB &J. Coach Owens will be coming tomorrow to follow two of our written recipes/directions. Hopefully we kept them simple.....she doesn't cook!!

Mrs. Cribbs is BACK!! :) (Retests, Missing Assignments, etc.)

Hello ALL!
I am so glad to be back in hot, humid FLORIDA! Texas was nice, but I missed my home. If you have any questions or concerns you may now contact me by phone or email. Just a heads up about a few things:
- We will be retesting for failed tests/CIM checks soon. We will be doing this along and along. All retests will be completed by the end of the 9 weeks. No worries. :)
- If you notice that there is a missing assignment or an asterisk that means I have not yet posted a grade. This could be for two reasons: the assignment is not yet complete or a student was absent. If I am missing a grade, I will post it as MISSING. If a child doesn't turn in work, it will be counted as a zero (0).
- I have noticed that a lot of students are struggling on our weekly vocabulary tests. Please make sure that you are studying these words at home too.
- Reading/writing logs- I send home what I expect to be in the weekly log attached to the log itself. Please make sure to follow it.
- AR!! AR!!! AR!!!! We need to be reading books and testing. It will be part of the reading grade. However, I would mainly like to see students reading so they can reap the rich rewards of using their imaginations. (Plus you can earn prizes!!!!)
- I am also seeing students rushing through assignments! Remember there is NO prize for being first! Only prizes for first rate work!!!! (As and Bs)

Friday, 9/7 and Monday, 9/10-Mrs. Cribbs

This coming Friday, 9/7 and Monday, 9/10 I will be out of town. You will be in good hands with Ms. Ruiz and the sub. Please direct any phone calls, emails and notes to Ms. Ruiz during my absence. I am confident ALL students will be on their very best behavior. I will be bringing back a special surprise from Texas for those that show PAWS!!! Love to all!!
